At Avomira, design begins with the way people live.
Founded by Bizhu Chen, Avomira brings together his vision for thoughtful, accessible design with the perspective of our U.S.-based design team. Together, we explore the relationship between form, comfort, material, and everyday function — creating furniture that feels considered without feeling complicated.
Our designers work closely with Bizhu Chen and our manufacturing team in Foshan, China, from the earliest concepts through material selection, prototyping, and production. This close collaboration allows design ideas to be refined with a practical understanding of construction, craftsmanship, and usability.
The result is furniture designed for contemporary living — distinctive in form, comfortable in use, and made to become a natural part of everyday spaces.

Avomira was founded by Bizhu Chen with a belief that well-designed furniture should bring character, comfort, and ease into everyday life.
Drawing on a strong connection to furniture manufacturing in Foshan, China, Bizhu Chen set out to build a brand that could unite experienced craftsmanship with a more contemporary design perspective.
Today, Avomira’s design team is based in the United States, while our manufacturing base remains in Foshan — one of the world’s established furniture-making centers. This connection allows design and production to work closely together, balancing creative ideas with a deep understanding of materials, construction, and quality.
Under Bizhu Chen’s direction, Avomira focuses on creating furniture with balanced proportions, purposeful details, and lasting versatility rather than simply following short-lived trends.
From the first sketch to the finished piece, every Avomira product reflects the collaboration between our designers and makers.
